Tax-Exempt Organization Search Tool (TEOS)
The IRS provides a Tax-Exempt Organization Search tool (TEOS) for nonprofit organizations. This tool allows
tax exempt organizations to have access to forms or letters that the IRS has provided or that may had
received. Such as determination letters or revocation letters issued by the IRS. Determination letters
issued since January 2014 will also be available in the future. You can check an organization’s eligibility
to a tax-exempt status as well as an organizations Tax period
beginning & ending date. The Tax-Exempt Search tool will have
information of forms that were filed in January and February 2018 new filings will be added monthly to the
search tool. to receive tax-deductible charitable contributions (Pub 78
Data).
