If you are a full resident which means you lived in Connecticut for more than half of the year, you are
required to file Form CT-1040, Schedule 1. You will need to file this form for the following kind of
compensation for services. This includes wages, fees, commissions, taxable fringe benefits, unemployment.
Any type of Gross income from a business, rental property, your share in any of the following: income from
partnerships, S corporations, estates, or trusts. Capital gains, IRA Distributions, Gambling, Winnings,
prizes, and awards of any kind. Taxable pensions and annuities, Alimony, federally taxable social security

PART-YEAR RESIDENT:
If you are filing as a part-time resident, you are required to file Form CT 1040NR/PY, Worksheet CT-1040AW,
and Schedule CT-SI. If you resided in another state during the tax year, you are required to file with that
